A federal district court denied summary judgment to the Illinois Secretary of State on a former employee’s Title VII of the Civil Rights Act sex and pregnancy discrimination claims, where she was terminated for alleged attendance issues, and she raised a genuine issue of fact that her absences were improperly recorded and that similarly situated male employees were treated more favorably, but the court granted summary judgment to the employer on her insufficient hostile work environment claims.
