A Florida federal court granted summary judgment to Building Industry Consulting on the claims of a female senior graphic designer that she faced discrimination and a hostile work environment due to her nonconforming gender characteristics, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and state law, ruling that the graphic designer couldn’t provide appropriate comparators to show discrimination, nor show that the proffered reasons for her discharge were pretext for discriminatory animus.
