A female account manager is entitled to a trial on her claim that Aerotek Inc. discharged her because she reported that a male senior employee had a sexual relationship with her as well as another junior female subordinate, rather than because of performance issues and interviewing with other employers during work hours, a federal district court in California ruled. The director of business operations who made the discharge decision was reprimanded for his delay in reporting the account manager’s complaint to human resources for an investigation and allegedly told her he was angry HR opened an investigation, the court said. ...
