A Washington federal district court ruled that Karcher North America, Inc. isn’t entitled to summary judgment on a human resources generalist’s claims of retaliatory discharge under the Washington Law Against Discrimination, finding that there was temporal proximity between his complaints about his supervisor and his termination, and that Karcher’s reasons for terminating him—a dysfunctional relationship with his supervisor and an unauthorized charge on his company credit card—were pretextual.
