A Texas federal district court denied summary judgment to Bexar County on the claims of a 62-year-old Sheriff’s Department employee that he faced discrimination due to his age and was retaliatorily discharged for complaining, in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and state law, ruling that there was sufficient evidence of age discrimination directed against the employee, as well as a causal connection between his complaint to the EEOC and his discharge.
