A California federal district court granted summary judgment to Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. on claims of age discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and failure to prevent discrimination under the Fair Employment and Housing Act and California Labor Code brought by a 58-year-old male stocking team associate who alleged he was denied promotions, performance reviews, and given adverse job assignments, finding the plaintiff failed to establish he suffered adverse employment actions or that any actions were causally linked to his age or protected activities.
