Leidos, Inc. is granted summary judgment on a terminated machinist’s California Fair Employment & Housing Act retaliation claim, where his taking medical leave wasn’t FEHA protected activity, the physical altercation that he had with a coworker which occurred between his accommodations requests and his termination about a month later was a nondiscriminatory reason to fire him, and he couldn’t establish causation between his requests and his discharge, a federal court ruled.
