A Maryland federal district court ruled that Blair Wellness Center, LLC is entitled to summary judgment on a retaliation claim under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of a Black assistant inventory manager who alleged that Blair Wellness eliminated her position, revoked its offer of reemployment, and had her criminally charged with theft in retaliation for speaking to human resources about potential wage discrimination. finding that the company’s reasons for its actions were non-pretextual.
