A Massachusetts federal court granted summary judgment to Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. on the claims of a clinical supervisor that he was refused accommodation for his religious beliefs regarding the state’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate, and retaliatorily discharged, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and state law, ruling that any in-office accommodation would have created an undue hardship, and that there was no causal link between his accommodation request and the discharge.
