Case: Discrimination/Race Discrimination (W.D. Pa.)

A Pennsylvania federal district court granted summary judgment to Child Development Centers, Inc. on claims of age discrimination under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and race discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, state law, and 42 U.S.C. § 1981 of two Black, age-protected employees who were allegedly targeted for furlough due to their age and race, finding that neither employee showed that they were replaced by employees outside of their protected classes.
