A Florida federal district court denied Manpower US Inc. and Baxter International Inc.’s motion to dismiss a race discrimination claim under 42 U.S.C. § 1981 of a Black technician who was allegedly subjected to hostile treatment by his supervisor, the only Black employee in his work area, and terminated just 11 days after his employment start date, finding that there were enough facts to render the claim plausible.
