An Arizona federal district court granted summary judgment to CVS on race discrimination claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and 42 U.S.C. § 1981, retaliation claims, and disability discrimination claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act brought by a Black female Benefits Verification Representative-Lead with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and bradycardia, finding that the representative failed to establish prima facie cases for her claims and didn’t provide evidence contradicting the employer’s legitimate, non-discriminatory reasons for its actions.
