A federal district court in New York ruled that a black female attorney who says WeWork Companies Inc. reneged on its offer for her to be director of employee relations in New York must arbitrate her claims of race and gender discrimination, retaliation, and equal pay violations, even though New York Civil Practice Law and Rules § 7515 prohibits mandatory arbitration to resolve any allegation or claims of discrimination.
