An Illinois federal district court granted summary judgment in favor of Cook County on a female former financial control director’s claims of pay inequity in violation of the Equal Pay Act and sex discrimination and retaliation in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. She alleged that male colleagues with similar titles were paid more and that the county retaliated when she complained of sex discrimination.
