An Ohio federal district court granted summary judgment to PSA Airlines, Inc. on race and national origin discrimination claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 brought by a Black Rwandan airplane mechanic who was terminated after an emergency airplane incident, finding that he failed to establish a prima facie case because he couldn’t show he was similarly situated to any non-protected PSA employees who received better treatment following his failure to use a maintenance manual.
