A federal district court granted United Airlines, Inc.'s motion to transfer venue to the Southern District of Texas in a case brought by a South Asian pilot of Indian national origin alleging discrimination and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Illinois Human Rights Act, and the Civil Rights Act of 1866, finding that the convenience of parties and witnesses strongly favored transfer because the pilot resided in Houston, almost all witnesses lived in Texas, and the alleged discriminatory events occurred primarily at Houston’s George Bush International Airport where the plaintiff was employed.
