A Maryland federal district court denied CAMRIS International’s motion to dismiss a national origin discrimination claim under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act brought by a Black employee of Beninese origin with a severe back condition, finding he adequately alleged that CAMRIS terminated his employment because of his national origin when he identified another African employee who was similarly terminated after developing medical issues while non-African American employees received accommodations.
