Charter Central, LLC’s motion to dismiss the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act hostile work environment claims of a Black employee was denied by a Virginia federal district court because the employee, who allegedly was consistently tasked with sweeping and mopping floors with another Black employee and then told by his supervisor that it was “because you are black,” sufficiently pled facts supporting his claim that the discrimination was severe and pervasive enough to alter his employment conditions.
