A Michigan federal district court granted summary judgment to Harvard Maintenance, Inc. on the claims of a Black female maintenance worker that she faced discrimination and a hostile work environment, and was discharged, due to her race and gender, in violation of state law, ruling that she didn’t show she met the job’s legitimate expectations, was treated differently from similarly situated employees, or was aware of any unusual amount of hostility towards her during her employment.
