A Maryland federal district court denied Coastal Hospice, Inc.'s motion to dismiss race discrimination, retaliation, and hostile work environment claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Maryland Fair Employment Practices Act brought by a Black former director of bereavement, spiritual, and supportive services who alleged his White supervisor racially harassed him for 18 months and that he was terminated shortly after reporting the harassment to HR.
