A federal district court denied the town of East Hartford’s motion for summary judgment on a Black police service aide’s claims of race discrimination and a hostile work environment in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and the Connecticut Fair Employment Practices Act after he was terminated for improperly using a department database and later reinstated.
