The United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit affirmed summary judgment for Zales Delaware on age discrimination, hostile work environment, and retaliation claims under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination brought by an age-protected former employee who alleged she was terminated due to her age and complaints about ageist comments, finding that Zales had legitimate nondiscriminatory reasons — conduct and policy violations — for the termination, the alleged harassment wasn’t severe or pervasive, and there was no causal connection between her complaints and termination.
