A Maryland federal district court granted Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory’s motion to dismiss a female Catholic employee’s claims of religious discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, hostile work environment, retaliation, and disability discrimination under the Americans with Disabilities Act after she was terminated for refusing a Covid-19 vaccination, finding she failed to adequately connect her religious beliefs to her vaccine objection, demonstrate severe/pervasive conduct, establish causation for retaliation, or show she had a disability, although the court allowed her to amend her religious discrimination claim.
