A Texas federal district court denied Bexar County’s motion to dismiss an age discrimination claim under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of a mediation coordinator who was in her 70s and alleged that she was replaced with someone below the age of 40 upon her termination, finding that her allegations were specific enough to allege a plausible age discrimination claim, and additional discovery is needed to determine whether she remained qualified for her position.
