A Pennsylvania federal district court granted DAS Companies, Inc.'s motion for summary judgment on the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and state law claims of an age protected merchandise purchasing director with Parkinson’s Disease that he was discharged due to his age and disability, ruling that the director was unable to demonstrate that any of the proffered reasons for his discharge were discriminatory pretext, related either to his age or disability.
