Molokai Ohana Health Care Inc. is entitled to summary judgment on an an age-protected patient services associate/medical assistant’s claims of disparate treatment and discrimination under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, a federal court in Hawaii ruled. The medical assistant alleged that after she reported her supervisor for failing to report an expired vaccine incident involving minors, the supervisor began looking for reasons to write her up for policy violations.
