A Pennsylvania federal district court granted Express Employment Professionals and Zep, Inc.’s motions to compel arbitration of a former employee’s race discrimination claim under 42 U.S.C. § 1981, finding that a valid arbitration agreement exists because his electronic signature is sufficient, his continued employment indicated his acceptance of the agreement, the terms are sufficiently definite, and whether the agreement can be enforced against Zep is a question for the arbitrator.
