An illinois federal district court granted summary judgment to Nissan North America on the claims of a manager over 40 years old that he was discharged and refused rehire to various other positions due to his age and for complaining about discrimination, in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, ruling that the discharge and several of the rehire claims were time barred, and that the manager couldn’t show that the nondiscriminatory reasons for not rehiring him were pretextual.
