A Puerto Rico federal district court denied Intelvox LLC’s motion to strike a jury trial demand by a 68-year-old former chief financial officer on his claims for unjust dismissal under Puerto Rico Law 80, age discrimination under Puerto Rico Law 100, and unpaid wages under Puerto Rico Law 180, ruling that the Seventh Amendment provides jury trial rights on legal claims seeking monetary damages even though Puerto Rico state courts don’t provide civil jury trials.
