An Indiana federal district court denied Tri Star Engineering, Inc.'s motion for leave to file counterclaims in a case where an employee with a disability brought discrimination and retaliation claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act, finding that Tristar’s proposed counterclaims for civil conversion, computer trespass, and breach of contract were not compulsory counterclaims as they weren’t sufficiently related to the employee’s ADA claims despite both having a relationship to his employment.
