An Illinois federal district court denied American Airlines’ motion to dismiss the claims of a flight attendant with cataracts that he was discriminatorily and retaliatorily discharged due to his disability, and for requesting accommodations and leave, in violation of the Rehabilitation Act, ruling that the flight attendant had adequately pleaded that the airline was a covered employer under the act, and that his disability and related protected activities led to his discharge.
