An administrative assistant recovering from surgery to correct an ankle injury and alleging that Harris County failed to accommodate her request to work from home in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act can move forward on her claims, where a factfinder should decide if the injury substantially limited her walking ability, and her supervisor couldn’t testify as to the assistant’s duties requiring her in-person attendance, a Texas federal court ruled.
