Case: Disability Discrimination/Hiring (W.D.N.C.)

Atrium Health, Inc. is entitled to summary judgment on a combat disabled veteran’s claims the it unlawfully discriminated against him in violation of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act, after the hospital rescinded his offer of employment when it learned he held certificates from an unaccredited “diploma mill,” a federal district court ruled.
