An Illinois federal district court denied summary judgment to the Social Security Administration on the claims of a customer service representative with mental health issues that she was refused the accommodation of working from home, in violation of the Rehabilitation Act, ruling there was sufficient evidence that the employee was a qualified individual under the statute, and that the SSA’s refusal of her proposed accommodations, as well as the suggested alternatives, were made in bad faith.
