A New York federal district court granted summary judgment to New York Queens Medicine and Surgery P.C. on a disability discrimination claim under the Americans with Disabilities Act by a patient access liaison with bipolar and major depressive disorders who was allegedly denied an extension for a part-time schedule beyond the period specified by his psychiatrist and resigned, finding that the accommodation was reasonable and the employer didn’t have a duty to refuse to allow him to resign.
