A New York federal court granted summary judgment to Suffolk County on the claims of a public safety dispatcher with a spinal cord disability that she faced discrimination and retaliation due to her disability, and was refused a reasonable accommodation, in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and state law, ruling that her claims were barred by a prior release of all work-related claims against the county signed by the dispatcher, which was found to have been entered into willingly.
