A Kentucky federal district court denied Certified Flooring Installation’s motion to dismiss the claims of an employee with past alcohol addiction that she was refused an accommodation for her disability and discriminatorily discharged, in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, ruling that the employee sufficiently stated a claim under the ADA that her alcoholism is a disability, which substantially limited a major life activity—her ability to interact with her coworkers.
