A Nebraska federal district court declined to dismiss pro se employment discrimination claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act brought by a Black nursing assistant with diabetes and a “blindness eye disorder” against Douglas County, finding that while the current complaint failed to state plausible claims for race discrimination, disability discrimination, hostile work environment, and retaliation, the nursing assistant would be granted leave to file an amended complaint to properly allege facts supporting her claims.
