A District of Columbia federal district court denied summary judgment to the District of Columbia on a failure to accommodate claim under the Americans with Disabilities Act of a deputy clerk with breast cancer who was allegedly denied remote work as an accommodation as the Covid-19 pandemic came to a close, noting that she performed her job at the highest levels for two years while working remote, and concluding that a jury will need to decide whether the in-person duties were essential.
