A Virginia federal district court granted the Commonwealth of Virginia and Virginia Department of Corrections’ motion to dismiss claims brought by a female corrections officer with PTSD, complex PTSD, panic disorder, psoriasis, and migraines under the Rehabilitation Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, finding she failed to sufficiently allege adverse employment actions taken because of her disabilities, failed to establish causation for the retaliation claims, failed to allege denial of accommodations, and failed to plausibly allege sex discrimination.
