A California federal court denied Costco’s motion for summary judgment on the claims of a pregnant White employee with a skin condition that she faced discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination due to her disability, race, and pregnancy, in violation of the Family and Medical Leave Act and state law, ruling that there was sufficient evidence of both severe and pervasive discriminatory behavior directed towards her, and causation between her discharge and her request for accommodations.
