A California federal district court granted summary judgment to Dot Foods on the claims of a warehouse employee with various physical injuries that he was discharged due to his disabilities, in violation of California’s Fair Housing and Employment Act and other state laws, ruling that the employee couldn’t show that he had a qualified disability under the statute, or show that Dot Foods had knowledge of a disability or that adverse actions were motivated by perceived disability.
