St. Jude Medical S.C., Inc. is entitled to summary judgment on the disability discrimination claims under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act of a former senior clinical instructor in global sales marketing diagnosed with transverse myelitis, a federal court in Minnesota ruled. The employee claimed he was terminated because of his conduct that resulted from pain and his need to take medication for his disability.
