Walmart, Inc. is entitled to a grant of summary judgment on a vision-impaired former employee’s claims of disabilities discrimination, disparate treatment, failure to accommodate and retaliation under the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Washington Law Against Discrimination, a federal district court ruled. The employee claimed that he was forced to remain on involuntary leave and to resign, because Walmart refused to find a position for him after he took leave.
