Newport Utilities is granted summary judgment on the Americans with Disabilities Act failure to accommodate claim of a bucket foreman with complex partial seizures and impairment of consciousness, who was medically restricted from driving company vehicles and working standby, overtime or long hours, where no reasonable accommodation Newport could’ve made would’ve eliminated the risk he posed to himself and others, due to his essential job function of restoring electricity, a federal court ruled.
