Carrabba’s Italian Grill LLC and its affiliate OS Restaurant Services LLC will pay $690,000 and review their equal employment opportunity practices under a deal to settle claims they were slow to stop a manager of a Florida restaurant from sexually harassing female workers, according to federal court filings.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleged that Sean Bommarito subjected female employees of a Brandon, Fla., restaurant to unwelcome conduct and sexual comments, and linked a worker’s employment “to her submission to his sexual advances and toleration of the sexual harassment.”
