Car wash companies accused of paying workers $4.50 per hour without breaks or overtime will fork over $1 million in a settlement with Los Angeles.
Silver Lake Car Wash Inc. and Catalina Car Wash Inc. agreed to pay that to employees who were allegedly paid as little as $4.50 per hour and were denied required overtime wages and breaks, Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer announced.
