Diva Limousine Ltd. can drop its proposed class claims alleging Uber Inc.‘s labor practices stifle competition, ruled a California federal judge who previously said the limo’s company claim could proceed.

Diva, a Los Angeles-based car service, alleged that Uber’s misclassification of its drivers as independent contractors unfairly impacts competition in the state. Earlier this month, Diva asked the U.S. Court for the Northern District of California to dismiss all claims, but Judge Edward Chen said the court needed more information before approving the request.
