A grower and distributor of cannabis in New Jersey cannot stop an inspection warrant from OSHA, a federal magistrate judge said.
Curaleaf NJ Inc. blocked the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration from inspecting its 125,000-square-foot facility in 2024 after the agency selected the company for an inspection based on its high-rate of reported worker injuries, according to US Magistrate Judge Elizabeth A. Pascal.
OSHA’s investigation of Curaleaf isn’t arbitrary because its based on a neutral administrative plan, Pascal said in denying the company’s bid to quash OSHA’s inspection warrant for lack of administrative probable cause.
