U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is “taking a position that they can retroactively turn around and say that the work was never authorized,” Greg Siskind of Siskind Susser in Memphis, Tenn., told Bloomberg Law Aug. 23. The prospect that someone who has been working for years could be told that he or she has been violating the terms of his or her visa “is pretty scary,” he said.
